The sounds presented here were the culmination of six weeks of workshops held at Jack Tizard SEN school in the spring of 2018. Gate members Darren, Josh and Mary (aided by Mat and Arlo) worked with the students of Class six (all of whom have profound multiple disabilities) with a variety of amplified objects including paper, GoTalks, metal chains, gongs and toothbrush in an effort to get the children to engage with making sound on their own terms.
